Upon arrival, we will meet you and transfer you to your hotel. The balance of the day is at leisure.

DAY 2, SUNDAY

DUBROVNIK (Breakfast)

There’s so much to see in ‘Old Dubrovnik,’ as we take you to the highlights: the Rector’s Palace, Bell Tower clock, Orlando’s Column and the Sponza Palace, the Dominican Monastery and the Franciscan Monastery with its pharmacy, one of the oldest in the world. The rest of the day is at leisure.

DAY 3, MONDAY

DUBROVNIK - SPLIT (Breakfast, Dinner)

This morning we leave Dubrovnik for Split, traveling north along the spectacular Adriatic coast, past old fi shing villages and new resorts. A sightseeing tour provides a look at this city’s Roman heritage, its Renaissance and Gothic structures, and its present-day attractions.

DAY 4, TUESDAY

SPLIT - TROGIT - PLITVICE LAKES (Breakfast, Dinner)

After breakfast, we head north along the coast to Trogir, an artists’ colony, where scholars from around the world gather to study and paint. Then, we turn inland and travel to Plitvice Lakes National Park. Upon arrival, have your camera ready and take a walking tour around several of the lower lakes. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery of this natural wonder of 16 terraced lakes surrounded by thickly wooded mountains and lush vegetation.

DAY 5, WEDNESDAY

PLITVICE LAKES - OPATIJA - POSTOJNA - BLED (Breakfast, Dinner)

We return to the coast and the beautiful bay of Kvarner with its popular resort, Opatija. Then we head north to Postojna, home of one of the largest caves in Europe. Here we tour the fantastic subterranean world by miniature electric train. Afterwards, our journey continues to Bled, beautifully situated in the Julian Alps.

DAY 6, THURSDAY

BLED (Breakfast)

Our morning sightseeing tour features the town of Bled with its lakeshore and includes a visit to Bled Castle, perched on a cliff high above the lake. The balance of the day is at leisure for optional activities.

DAY 7, FRIDAY

BLED - LJUBLJANA - ZAGREB (Breakfast, Dinner)

After breakfast we drive to Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. Our tour of Ljubljana begins with a visit to the open-air market, City Hall, Robba’s Fountain, the Three Bridges and the Parliament. Then we proceed to Zagreb, capital of Croatia.

DAY 8, SATURDAY

ZAGREB (Breakfast)

This morning, enjoy a city tour featuring the historic Upper Town, St. Mark’s Church, St. Catherine’s Church, the Cathedral, the Parliament and the Government Palace. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the winding streets of the old town or take an optional excursion to the countryside.

DAY 9, SUNDAY

ZAGREB - USA (Breakfast)

After breakfast we transfer you to the airport for your flight home.
