1ST DAY, FRIDAY

USA - WARSAW [OVERNIGHT]

This is the day you’ve been waiting for, as you come aboard a swift, smooth, trans-Atlantic jet bound for Poland


2ND DAY, SATURDAY

WARSAW [D]

On arrival, you are met and transferred to your hotel. The afternoon is free. Meet your ORBIS guide in the hotel lobby at 6:00 PM and then enjoy a welcome dinner with folklore entertainment at a local restaurant.


3RD DAY, SUNDAY

WARSAW [B,L]

This morning, we introduce you to the highlights of Warsaw. Your sightseeing tour includes a drive along the famous Royal Route from magnificent Castle Square to Lazienki Park. Here, we will enter the park near the Chopin’s monument, surrounded by benches and rose bushes. Then, we pass by the Palace of Science and Culture, the Saxon gardens, the tomb of the Unknown Soldier, monument of the Heroes of the Warsaw Ghetto and the Barbican. Continue with a walking tour of Old Town, Market Square and St. John’s Cathedral. Lunch at a local restaurant. The afternoon is free to explore more of Warsaw on your own.


4TH DAY, MONDAY

WARSAW - CZESTOCHOWA - AUSCHWITZ - ZAKOPANE [B,L]

After breakfast, we set out for Zakopane. On the way, we stop at Czestochowa to visit the shrine of the Black Madonna in Jasna Gora monastery. Before we reach Zakopane, we drive to Auschwitz, site of the infamous concentration camp, a name that has become synonymous with all the horrors of the infamous Holocaust. In the afternoon, we drive to Zakopane.


5TH DAY, TUESDAY

ZAKOPANE - KRAKOW [B,D]

In the morning, after a brief sightseeing tour of Zakopane, take a cable car to a nearby mountain-top for a thrilling panorama. Before driving to Krakow, we go rafting on the Dunajec River.


6TH DAY, WEDNESDAY

KRAKOW - WIELICZKA - KRAKOW [B,D]

Get acquainted today with this medieval jewel, as you explore Market Square, where you hear the silver trumpet of the bugler from St. Mary’s church tower and go inside to admire the awesome Wit Stwosz altar. You also visit Wawel Hill and the Gothic Cathedral. In the afternoon, visit Wieliczka Salt Mine, a splendid 3-mile-long underground complex of chambers, chapels and statues sculpted from salt. In the evening, we have a dinner with a folklore entertainment at a local restaurant.


7TH DAY, THURSDAY

KRAKOW - WARSAW [B,L]

After breakfast, we return to Warsaw. Lunch. The rest of the day is free for last-minute souvenir shopping.


8TH DAY, FRIDAY

WARSAW - USA [B]

Filled with sublime memories, you are transferred to the airport this morning, where your home-bound jet carries you swiftly back to the USA.
