Come aboard your trans-Atlantic jet this evening for the swift, smooth ride to Warsaw,
Poland’s vibrant capital.
2ND DAY, SATURDAY
WARSAW [D]
Upon arrival, you are met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. With an afternoon
at leisure, explore the city on your own. Meet your ORBIS guide at 6:00 PM in the hotel lobby
before enjoying dinner.
3RD DAY, SUNDAY
WARSAW [B,D]
This morning, see the wonders of Warsaw. Included in your tour are a stroll through Old Town,
faithfully rebuilt to its pre-World War II splendor and the Ghetto memorial. Free time for lunch
on your own. Afternoon at leisure. In the evening, enjoy a dinner at a local restaurant with a
Mazowsze folklore show.
4TH DAY, MONDAY
WARSAW - CZESTOCHOWA - ZAKOPANE[B,L]
After breakfast, depart for Zakopane. En route, there is a visit to Czestochowa, where we tour
Jasna Gora monastery, a world-famous pilgrimage center and shrine of Poland’s holiest icon, the
Black Madonna. From here we drive to Zakopane in the Tatras.
5TH DAY, TUESDAY
ZAKOPANE [B,D]
In a setting of mountain beauty, Zakopane is a popular year-round resort, famous for the unique
architecture, arts, crafts and lifestyle of its inhabitants. After a brief tour of town,take a
cable car to Gubalowka Mountain. This evening, enjoy a special dinner with folklore
entertainment at a typical, local restaurant.

6TH DAY, WEDNESDAY
ZAKOPANE - KRAKOW [B,L]
Today we take raft trip down the Dunajec River in the Pieniny Mountains. After lunch, we
leave for Krakow.
7TH DAY, THURSDAY
KRAKOW - WIELICZKA - KRAKOW [B,D]
Krakow has more than one thousand buildings and monuments of historic and architectural
interest. Your tour includes Wawel Hill with its Gothic Cathedral. In the afternoon, take an
excursion to the Wieliczka Salt Mine, famous for their underground chapels and crystal caves.
8TH DAY, FRIDAY
KRAKOW - AUSCHWITZ - WADOWICE
After breakfast, leave for Auschwitz, site of the notorious concentration camp, a name synonymous
with the unspeakable horrors of the Holocaust. In the afternoon, return to Krakow via Wadowice, the
city where Pope John Paul II was born.
9TH DAY, SATURDAY
KRAKOW - WARSAW [B,D]
In the morning, we drive back to Warsaw. In the evening, we enjoy free time followed by a
farewell dinner at a local restaurant.
10TH DAY, SUNDAY
WARSAW - USA [B]
It’s all over but the memories, as we transfer you to the airport for your jet flight home.
